To quench my blade after heat treatment, I needed oil. It is possible to use vegetable oil, mineral oil, cooking oil, motor oil, baby oil or water for this process. I, unfortunately, needed a lot. There was a can in the shop, that had been previously used for this exact purpose. I got the blade red hot and oil quenched all on video, but I am having trouble uploading it, I will have that ready soon.
